Lottery players can't be traded. This should cut back on crazy tradedline moves because an Owner selling could only use players that are nonlotterry AKA keepable players.

Re: 2023/2024 Rule Change Proposals

Move Waiver Wire Day from Tuesday to Wednesday

This was proposed in the past, but I feel we should revisit this mainly because NFL injury reports come out on Wednesday afternoon. NFL teams no longer practice on Tuesday.

This would give Owners more information about players they are looking to add & knowledge of the severity of possible injuries on their current roster. Wednesday is usually when players hurt the week before are ruled Out (1-3 weeks) or moved to IR (4 weeks). Moving the Waiver Night to Wednesday could open up a spot for a team to add to their roster without dropping a player, if a current rostered player can be moved to an open IR spot. This is usually not an option anytime on Tuesday unless the injury is serious/season ending (Example - Chubb, Dobbins, Rodgers).

Re: 2023/2024 Rule Change Proposals

*Draft order based on season finish based on post season results Pick 10- Champion, 9- Runner up, 8- Higher seeded Semi loser, 7- other Semi loser, 6- higher seeded quarters loser, 5- other quarters loser, 4- highest seeded consolation rd 1 loser, 3- other consolation rd 1 loser, 2- runner up consolation tournament, 1- consolation champion

1. Would add equity to the league.  Random drawing creates a world where this past year, New Minglewood, who was champion, could have been champion with the #1 overall player as a keeper and the same chance as every other team to get the #1 overall.

2. Would keep everyone involved throughout the playoffs

3. Would align with NFL in the sense that non playoff teams would always get a better pick in the next year's draft

4. At the very least, the above order should at least be used to allow a manager where to select their draft slot.  Consolation winner gets first pick of draft slot, Champion gets whatever is left over.

Re: 2023/2024 Rule Change Proposals

* Trade deadline to Week 11 or Week 12

1. Our current trade deadline is 19 days before the Yahoo standard trade deadline.

2. Trade deadline was constantly being moved for the sole reason of preventing fire sales.  I believe the no traded picks clause has finally fixed that problem.

3. A lot can happen in 19 days of NFL.  This would allow managers to keep adjusting their rosters deeper into the season.  A benefit, since you're now better off playing your hand than trying to fire sale

Re: 2023/2024 Rule Change Proposals

* Can trade picks AFTER season

1. Teams may be looking to upgrade a weak pair of keepers or teams should be rewarded for drafting/obtaining 3 or more quality keepers

2. Obviously a "no earmark" trade would need to be applied so Justin Jefferson for Bryce Young couldn't be done in season with the promise of delivering a draft pick after the season

3. This is how fantasy media personality Jeff Ratcliff suggests doing keeper leagues that have been turned upside down by fire sales
